Mama’s Holiday Wish List Meme

1. What is your holiday wish for your family?
a healthy, happy holiday season filled with magic...oh, and I REALLY hope we get that house we want!
2. What is your Christmas morning tradition?
sleep as long a possible (ha ha!) open gifts until we're starving, eat breakfast, then open more!

3. If you could ask Santa for one, completely decadent wish for yourself, what would it be?
I want both my grandmothers to still be around next summer so I can visit them.

4. How do you make the holidays special without spending any money?
Decorating, and making new Christmas Crafts to save for many years.

5. What games did you play with your family growing up?
Clue, Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Pictionary

6. What holiday tradition have you carried on from your own childhood?
Still make the same Christmas cookies (with the same recipes!) that Mom makes!

7. Where would you go for a Christmas-away-from-home trip?
If someone else were paying, I'd go on an African safari, or maybe Australia.

Well, we still don't own a Wii, so there's that, and we'd like Epic Mickey, and Mario Party bundles.

Thanksgiving

Celebrated Thanksgiving today (Fri) for several reasons:  1. LP had school on Th, and he wanted to go.  2. the commissary was OUT of sweet potatoes until Fri morning and 3. we can! :)  Burke cooked the whole meal, so I took a nap, walked Lex, and came home to a delicious meal on the table.  I did get stuck with doing the dishes, tho!
